Presumably, he considered "Van Vliet" his surname, but the article randomly and inconsistently switches between referring to him as Vliet and as Van Vliet.
If there's any indication that he considered Van his middle name, then all such references should use Vliet. More likely, the references to Vliet should generally be changed to Van Vliet. 172.59.130.102 (talk) 20:40, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
